Guest speaker Catherine Raschke was one of 144 students who attended the National Youth Science Forum held in Canberra from 2/1/2012
– 14/1/2012. The Science Forum gives year 11 students the opportunity to get hands-on experience with some of the many fields of science available at university.
Some of the activities included a fossil dig at Cowra – spending the week-end at a Rotarian’s house – testing for various chemicals at a forensic
science forum – learning about nano technology – a discussion on particle physics and the work being done by CERN with the Large Hadron Collider – a visit to the deep space tracking centre at
