The Science Experience

The Science Experience is a National Programme that encourages students in year 9 or year 10 to consider science, engineering and technology as interesting and a worthwhile subject and career choice. Almost 3000 places are available at the 3 day programme conducted in 36 university campuses and tertiary institutions throughout Australia.

The programme includes hands-on science practical activities in laboratories and short interactive lectures from prominent scientists.

One former student described his three days as "three days of jam packed fun, interesting and hands on science related subject and would recommend it to any student interested in science". Rotary Clubs throughout Australia including this District may sponsor a student's attendance at this forum.
